Electric City Publishing presents
“BUFFALO SOUVENIR MUSIC 1894 – 1906”
COMMEMORATIVE EDITION
Twenty-four Instrumental Gems on compact disc
NOW AVAILABLE —
in honor of the Pan Am Centennial — the commemorative edition features
five previously unreleased tracks, new photography and CD-TEXT track
information right on the disc. Over 73 minutes of snappy music for all
ages!
“BUFFALO SOUVENIR
MUSIC 1894 – 1906” is the first compact disc of all Buffalo
music — written IN Buffalo, ABOUT Buffalo, and FOR Buffalo — at the
turn
of the 20th Century. The region was on the map with the 1901 Pan
American Exposition and numberless men and women writing “souvenir
music” for piano and other instruments of the day. These instrumental
selections — recently uncovered and transcribed by computing machine —
represent in fine fashion a rousing era, all in stereo and digitally
recorded on the Niagara Frontier.
Additionally, a local company manufactured and packaged the CD
. . . a 100% WNY product!
